Brighton Le Sands Amateur Fishermen's Association
Brighton Le Sands Amateur Fishermen’s Association is a long standing member of the Brighton Le Sands community. It has been running for over 50 years and has been in it’s current location for just over 40 years.
The Amateur Fishermen’s Association has gone from strength to strength over the past 12 months, with the assistance of the President Pat Carboni, Vice President Michelle Fowler and General Manager Peter Jones and the long standing, loyal BAFA team and members new and old.
Brighton Le Sands Amateur Fishermen’s Association is giving the community and members a new, upgraded club to bring the family and have a great day or night out.
From new restaurants with a true ambiance and great food, to better facilities including a bottle shop that is open til 12am and 10am on Sundays, and general maintenance to the building and surroundings – where even the clubs president could be found on his hands and knees tiling the new floor to help save the club in extra laborer costs.
This growth and plans for the clubs future will soon include:
• a much better website to promote the club to members and the wider community
• utilizing social networks and marketing media
• better function facilities and marketing of these facilities to the business community
• marketing of the mooring and boating facilities including: moorings and undercover garages, repairs and maintenance, slipways and the boat ramp
• more entertainment and promotions to benefit the members
• increasing membership
• increasing our club support for our fishing and golfing club
• support for a new “junior” fishing club
These areas will provide the Brighton Le Sands community with top class facilities and customer service that is second to none.
